DirectlyApply
Employer Policy
Last updated: March 2nd 2021
We want to ensure we are able to create the most trusted and transparent platform for both job seekers and employers. We have therefore created the following guidelines to ensure that job advertisements meet our standards and comply with regulations that allow for the optimal job seeker experience.
The below is to be treated as a guide and is not a comprehensive list of what is allowable or forbidden. As a minimum, all jobs advertisements on DirectlyApply must meet the following criteria:
Non discriminatory. All jobs on DirectlyApply must be made available to qualified candidates regardless of age, race, gender and sexual orientation.
Each advertisement should represent a real and currently available job that in good faith the employer intends to fill.
Offer a real job. Non-job content–including spam, scams and other offers–will not be shown to jobseekers. Career fairs, franchise or training opportunities and multi-level marketing positions are also not permitted on the platform.
Jobs must have a formal pay structure which is paid reliably and fairly. Jobs on DirectlyApply should have hourly or salaried wages.
At all times and at all stages in the process, the employer must respect the privacy of the candidate. Any information which is collected as part of the application process should be treated with sensitivity and should never be made available to third parties.
Job advertisements should not contain offensive or vulgar content.
It is good practice for job advertisements to display clear job titles that are free from error, and job descriptions that are detailed, articulate, and specific to the job title.
There should be clear instructions as to how the candidate can apply to the job and it must not cost the candidate anything to apply, interview or start employment for any job advertised on DirectlyApply.
DirectlyApply takes candidate safety incredibly seriously, any jobs requesting personal information from job seekers that is outside of usual postings practices, content that can be defined as phishing or scam activity or any content that violates applicable laws will be removed.
Please note: We cannot give every reason why a job or a company may be removed, and we always retain the right to undertake such the removal of any job, organic or sponsored, if we feel it is in our interest or our users’ interest.
