Recently we achieved the goal of having +1000 students, and to keep pace with the needs of this dynamic group, the Finance Operations team is expanding.

Reporting directly to the Manager of Business & Finance Operations, we want a junior-level generalist experience to be part of the Finance Operations team.

Here’s what the Payroll/Finance Operations Analyst job looks like

Process payroll on a regular basis, including ensuring accurate calculation of salaries and PTO deductions

Assist managers with HCM systems to ensure accurate time accounting for all employees.

Assist in the onboarding process for new hires.

Recommend and implement changes to improve payroll systems and processes that will increase productivity, accuracy, and efficiency.

Ensures utmost confidentiality of employee data and information.

Communicate with employees via phone, email, mail, or in person.

Process all terminated employees and calculate final payroll checks.

Work closely with supervisors on goal setting and monitoring for employees.

Oversee the annual evaluation process of department administrative faculty, and classified staff, providing guidance to departments as needed.

Maintaining the office condition and arranging necessary repairs

Liaise with facility management vendors, including cleaning, catering, and security services

Coordinate with the IT department on all office

Making office supplies arrangements

Provide recommendations for improvements in Business/finance/HR processes and controls

Assist in the preparation of audit reports

Assist in the analysis of financial data and the preparation of reports for management, including budget vs. actual analysis, forecasting, and variance analysis

Perform additional duties as requested by supervisor

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance or another relevant field, or equivalent combination of education, training, and/or work experience.

Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office suite, including Teams, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

Ability to lift, push, and slide packages that typically weigh up to 50 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications

Demonstrated skill in providing project support.

Knowledge of financial and auditing principles and regulations

Knowledge of Data visualization tools such as Power BI

Master’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance or another relevant field, or equivalent combination of education, training, and/or work experience.

Ability to exercise sound judgment and to make reasonable, logical, and defensible decisions; and

Detail oriented
