RMAS is looking for Audit Advisory Consultants for a DoD Client
Successful candidates will obtain valuable audit readiness experience in support of DoD full financial statement audits. RMAS staff support audit readiness engagements in partnership with Big-4 CPA firms and receive valuable professional audit readiness/accounting experience. These are full-time positions which focus on support areas such as business process improvement, corrective action planning, IT system controls assessments, financial statement reviews and other audit readiness areas.
This is a full-time position with RM Advisory Services. Compensation is above market and includes salary and benefits including group health care, 401k plan, paid time-off, and educational reimbursement.

Role Description
In support of the DoD financial statement audit readiness program, the Audit Readiness Advisory Consultant will:
Support audit documentation management or Provided by Client Requests
Support the development of corrective action plans to resolve identified deficiencies by the auditor.
Support client walkthroughs meetings, documenting and testing controls for design and effectiveness.
Minimum role requirements
Accounting Degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, or Business Management.
3 years of experience supporting federal financial statement audits in an audit or audit advisory role
At least an interim Secret Clearance
Knowledge of GAAP, FASAB, GAGAS, ICOFR frameworks
Desired experience:
CPA, CISA, PMP, CGFM or CDFM certification
Familiarity with DoD FIAR framework
Familiarity with OMB Policies and Federal Financial Management Systems
Familiarity with DoD Policies, Systems and Procedures
Location
Primarily remote but may require some time at the contractors or client’s office in the DC area.
