An engineering services firm in Reston VA is in the market for a Senior Financial Analyst. Ideal position for an experienced Senior level analyst ready for a new challenge in a stable industry. Hybrid work situation - 2 days/week in office. This is a large privately held company that has been around for over a century. Salary $110-$130k depending on experience.
Duties
Assist with development of budgeting/forecasting processes, identifying KPIs and risk management activities
Prepare and analyze periodic (monthly, quarterly, annual) financial results versus budget, including prior periods
Support financial modeling for new business opportunities
Own quantitative data to assist with creating meaningful reports to drive sound business strategic decision making
Performance measurement - key performance indicators, budget vs. actuals, financial statement analysis, trends/drivers, benchmarking
Keys
BA/BS degree in Finance or similar
5+ years of financial analysis experience, including performing financial statement analysis and financial modeling
Experience with PowerPoint, Excel, and working with large data sets
Strong and refined communication and presentation skills, and the ability to collaborate successfully with employees at all levels of the organization
Ability to commute to Reston VA two days/week
