(CCIE,JNCIE SP,JNCIE,JNCA) if consultant have 5 certifications then $90/Hr on c2c, if consultant have 3 certifications then $70/Hr on c2c
Responsibilities
Manages and Executes Lab certification for new Network Technologies introduced into customer production network.
Hold design and information gathering workshops with the customer to understand the customers existing network design and technical requirements.
Understand the customers organizational structure and become familiar with the customers network implementation and support processes and procedures.
Collaborates with Juniper resources internally to help test and verify patches and hotfixes to operating software and to ensure that they are implemented and functioning correctly in the live network.
Troubleshoot equipment and network problems and to open and track JTAC cases through to problem resolution.
Prepares SIRT assessment for review by account team and customer
Leads technology workshops with the customer to discuss equipment and network problems, and to provide case status updates, including the reasons for any problems encountered and the workarounds and/or solutions that are being tried.
Guides the customers design, implementation, and support personnel to configure and operate the Juniper Networks products.
Assist the customer to develop Network Operating and Equipment Operating Procedures (for instance, upgrade MOPs).
Minimum Qualifications
Required routing experience with service provider routing protocols - MPLS, RSVP and BGP
Detailed technical experience in the design, installation and operation high-end IP routers
Detailed understanding of the protocols surrounding IP service provider networks
Strong Interpersonal skills and a team player mentality
Excellent Oral And Written Skills Required
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working on a large-scale Service Provider network desired
Previous JUNOS/ JUNOS Evolved experience desired
Hands on experience with Juniper routers as well as test equipment (i.e. Agilent, Ixia, etc) strongly desired
B.S. in electrical engineering, computer science or similar degree desired
Scripting knowledge desired
5-7 years related work experience
