Compensation: $65,000-$78,000 base salary + bonus + benefits + PTO
Assistant General Manager Qualifications
Previous experience as a Restaurant Manager in a Full Service concept.
Good interpersonal skills. Can communicate with staff effectively and leads by example.
Cost management. Knows cost, cost percentages, and how to reduce waste and loss while improving performance.
Knows food and beverage costing, pricing, and menu development.
Prior experience in hiring, training, and staff development.
Motivating, developing, and directing people as they work, identifying the best people for the job.
Good grasp of 4-walls marketing plans.
Know how to use Microsoft Office and prefer familiarity with Shift Note.
Familiar with TOAST P.O.S. operations, set-up, and maintenance.
Assistant General Manager Responsibilities
Manage operations and finances of the restaurant
Maintain food and equipment inventories, and keep inventory records.
Schedule staff hours and assign duties.
Organize and direct worker training programs
Establish and enforce standards for personal performance and customer service.
Plan menus and food utilization, based on the anticipated number of guests, nutritional value, palatability, popularity, and costs.
Keep records required by government agencies regarding sanitation or food subsidies.
