The Role
The Store Manager plays a vital role in overseeing the daily operations of the studio. They are primarily responsible for delivering a positive and memorable customer experience, driving sales and ensuring compliance with company standards.
Lead painting sessions, focusing on clear and creative instruction, excellent painting execution, and delivering a memorable customer experienceAssist in painting sessions by engaging with customers, providing guidance, and offering necessary support to foster a positive experienceOversee and actively participate in all kitchen operations, ensuring food safety and quality standards are consistently metEnsure necessary preparation and tasks are completed for special eventsDrive sales through exceptional customer satisfaction and interaction, ensuring a positive customer experienceEnsure the day-to-day operation of the store runs smoothly and efficientlyUphold visual standards by ensuring store appearance, cleanliness, and organization are maintained according to company guidelinesAccurately follow company guidelines for displaying marketing collateralProvide feedback to promote the growth and development of in-store talentMonitor employee timecards and elevate discrepancies to the Regional ManagerEnsure painting quality and service standards are being met in accordance with company guidelinesEnsure compliance pertaining to alcohol service, general safety, and cash handling procedures where applicableHandle in studio customer complaints promptly and professionally, elevating to Regional Manager as neededSubmit accurate and updated inventory counts and orders to be reviewed by OperationsProcess weekly deliveries and organize received items in line with company guidelines, reporting discrepancies to OperationsSubmit tickets to appropriate leadership to address facility and maintenance needsElevate ideas and suggestions to the Regional Manager for studio improvementsPerform any other duties as assigned by the Regional Manager or corporate leadershipRequired Skills/Abilities
Strong verbal and written communication skillsExcellent sales and customer service skillsExcellent math skills to draft and implement budgets and achieve sales goalsExcellent supervisory and leadership skillsThorough understanding of the companys products and/or services, and those of immediate competitors in the surrounding marketProficient with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office and SlackMust have reliable transportation and valid driver licenseAbility to work nights and weekendsAbility to travel as needed, up to 20% of each weekAvailability to work full-time hours (35-40 hours) covering 70% of the weekly studio sessionsAvailability to work a minimum of four full weekend days per monthExperience/Education
2+ years of full-time management experienceBachelors degree in Art, Business, Marketing, Finance, or related field; OR experience in management requiredSome formal training in the artsExperience in teaching art, especially in groupsExperience working in a bar or restaurantAlcohol Safety/TIPS certification (Muse will provide this training if needed)ServSafe Manager Certification (Muse will provide this training if needed)Physical Requirements
