We are seeking a highly motivated Front-End Software Engineer to join our team and contribute to our mission of compiling government and commercial flight/maritime data through Big Data Applications in a DevOps Environment. As a Front-End Software Engineer, you will play a critical role in determining technical objectives for the development and modification of enterprise-wide end-user, system level, and data management software applications.
This position offers a unique opportunity to work on new development with the support of a great team utilizing agile methodologies. You will have the chance to work on data processing projects, including geospatial tracking applications and target tracking. Additionally, you will be supporting a U.S. Government Agency and contributing to the development of our product. This role offers a fast-paced work environment with a dedicated team that is committed to meeting deadlines and providing learning opportunities to help you grow your skills.
Clearance
Active Top-Secret clearance with an ability to obtain SCI access and willingness to obtain CI Polygraph

As a Front-End Software Engineer, you will...
Think creatively and apply UX design principles in designing, implementing, testing, and integrating new and updated front-end components
Determine technical objectives for user requirements and specifications and plan for enterprise software development within the broader organizational scope
Formulate plans and guides the development and implementation of software solutions including language, coding, platform, resource requirements, testing, and documentation
Plan and coordinate deployment of enterprise applications including cross-platform compliance
Plan and coordinate the maintenance of enterprise solutions including debugging, maintenance, and updating to ensure viability in an evolving environment
Plan for future applications based on new developments in computer technology
May provide direction and guidance to less experienced developers or the team of developers
Front-End Software Engineer Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in computer science, information systems or related discipline
6+ years of experience in software engineering or software development for information technology systems
Ability to obtain Security + Certification
Additional skills we’d like to see:
React, Preact, Angular, or have experience with other JS frameworks
Have experience writing in TypeScript
Have experience with css pre-processors (Stylus, LESS, SASS, etc)
Use data visualization tools/toolkits such as d3 or similar libraries
Have experience developing map based applications using OpenLayers, Leaflet, Google Maps, etc.
Are interested in data mining, analytics, and/or machine learning
