As a Channel Sales Manager, you will be responsible for establishing and managing relationships with channel partners to drive revenue growth and expand market reach. Your primary focus will be on establishing relationships with channel partners, including but not limited to EDRs, resellers, system integrators, MSSPs, and backup providers. You will play a crucial role in developing and executing sales strategies, identifying partnership opportunities, and maximizing sales opportunities through effective collaboration with channel partners.
Develop and execute a channel sales strategy to achieve sales targets and maximize revenue growth.
Identify, recruit, and onboard new channel partners in alignment with company objectives.
Build and maintain strong relationships with channel partners, serving as their main point of contact and providing ongoing support and training.
Collaborate with channel partners to develop joint sales and marketing plans, including lead generation activities, product promotions, and sales training programs.
Drive sales activities, including prospecting, lead qualification, sales presentations, and contract negotiations.
Understand the needs and challenges of channel partners and provide solutions to address them effectively.
Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify potential business opportunities.
Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, product management, and technical support, to ensure effective communication and alignment of strategies.
Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts to track performance and provide insights to the management team.
3+ years of experience in sales, preferably in cybersecurity or related technology industry, working with Fortune 500 organizations.
Proven track record of success in meeting or exceeding sales targets in a similar role.
Strong understanding of the cybersecurity landscape and industry trends.
Experience working with channel partners, resellers, and distributors.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to navigate complex sales processes and manage multiple stakeholders.
Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented with a "hunter" mentality.
Experience with integrations and understanding of how various technologies work together (ideal but not required).
