The Nitty Gritty
The senior embedded firmware engineer will innovate, design, and develop cutting-edge products as a senior member of a fun and innovative team that makes a real difference by delivering products that delight customers and are used as part of their daily operations.
You will pay a key role as part of a dynamic team of disruptors in a fast-paced IoT market by building new and innovative telematics products and sensors. You will be challenged with developing products for the IoT industry primarily for the transportation space requiring a combination of high reliability and the latest technology.
Here is list of responsibilities:
Design/code/test firmware applications in concert with system level architecture
Collaborate with other functional groups in order to develop ideas for new features and services.
Provide support for Manufacturing Test in the form of test firmware, reprogramming tools and Automated Test software.
Participate in all Agile Development activities
Participate in QA reviews, release planning
Review and investigate product field issues
What you offer:
5+ years of embedded firmware (software) development experience
Bachelors degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
Experience developing with C/C++
Experience with wireless networking and protocols (Bluetooth, WiFi)
Experience with embedded debugging tools, interfacing with various buses and peripherals such as RS232, SPI, I2C, Flash Memory, etc.
Experience writing Test cases
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
If you have experience with the below, even better!
Experience with ARM Cortex, MSP430, Renesas R32C
Knowledge of Bluetooth LE
Experience working in an Agile Scrum environment.
Knowledgeable with Github.
Experience in M2M/IoT industry
