Senior Network Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Network Engineer, who will be responsible for designing, implementing and monitoring our growing network infrastructure, as well as collaborating with other team members to develop network designs and processes. You will be working in a dynamic environment, gaining experience in a wide range of technologies. You will be expected to complete tasks independently and to be proactive to complete tasks. Responsibilities

Tune performance and ensure high availability of infrastructure

Create tools to automate network configurations to solve unique problems

Design and develop infrastructure monitoring and reporting tools

Develop and maintain configuration management solutions, specifically related to Network Device Management

Monitor network and systems for outage and repair, as needed

Plan, develop and maintain international enterprise network Required skills

Strong interpersonal skills

Attention to detail in a fast pace environment

Overcome language and cultural barriers

Mastery of at least one of the following platforms:

Juniper JunOS

Cisco IOS/NXOS

BSD/Linux Routers & Firewalls

(PF/IPTables)

Experience with VMWare, Linux & OpenBSD servers in Networking and Routing

Experience with IP Network Design and Security

Familiarity with a scripting language

(Python preferred)

Mastery of dynamic routing protocols

(BGP/OSPF) and how they work

Experience with VPN and Tunnelling Protocols

(IPsec, L2TP, GRE, VTI, GTPv2)

Strong grasp on configuration management tools, such as Ansible

Ability to troubleshoot problems with various Linux, and BSD tools

MPLS/VPLS experience Preferred skills

IPv6 experience

GGSN/PGW/GRX experience

Fluency in another language

Experience with Cloud Networking Services

(AWS Direct Connect/Azure Express Route)

Experience with Quagga, FRR and OpenOSPFd/OpenGBPd

Experience with load balancing, and high availability

(CARP/VRRP) Security Clearance This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance (TS/SCI preferred).
