The Unit Based Nursing Educator, RN will support our Nursing Education Dept. and is responsible for contributing to quality patient care through staff development activities. This includes identification of competence requirements for populations served, skills assessment of unit staff prioritization and enhancement of developmental needs.

The Nurse Educator, RN will support our Pre-Surgical Testing, Pre-Op, PACU and CV Holding units.

Requirements

Licensure as a RN in Maryland or other compact state

Minimum of 3yrs experience in specialized area

BSN required; MSN or enrolled in MSN program with commitment to complete within 3 years strong preferred

Specialty certification preferred; required within 2 years

Hours

Part Time, 20hrs per week

Mon

- Fri.

Days, 8a - 4:30p
