Overview LMI is seeking a skilled Training Program Manager (FMS) for a major defense acquisition program.
The individual filling this position will provide support to a government program management organization (PMO) that is responsible for overseeing the training lifecycle and providing the end-items necessary to execute the training mission.
The training systems used are critical enablers to producing mission qualified personnel, as well as tracking their training status throughout the individuals' career.
The systems include Hardware, Software, subsystems, equipment, and reference data required to design, develop, deliver, evaluate, and refine the training provided to the personnel.

LMI is The Washin on Post's Top Work Places in 2021 Responsibilities Principal tasks will include, but are not limited to the following: * Assisting the PMO in overseeing the development and delivery of all training devices and in exploring future technology solutions that could potentially resolve existing technology limits within the training systems.*
Producing the courseware used for classroom training for the training devices and systems.* Supporting the PMO in managing the live, virtual and constructive training architecture.* Coordinating with other government agencies to produce a government-owned secure environment for training devices and systems.* Assisting the in performing verification and validation as part of the development and acceptance of the Training Products (devices, courseware, training aids, etc.)prior to delivery to the customer.
Qualifications* Bachelor's degree in science, engineering, systems management, or related technical discipline* At least ten (10) years of experience in program management, technical, or business analysis discipline, in weapon systems acquisition and life cycle management; with at least six (6) years out of 10 years of recent work experience related to the management of training programs* At least three (3) years in support of a Major Defense Acquisition Program (MDAP)* Experience with Special Access Programs * Extensive knowledge of Service Training Execution* Strong oral and written communication skills *
Formal Training Unit instructor experience preferred* Proficiency in MS Office Suite applications Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint* Secret/SAR Clearance Required.
