Job Description


The Recruiter is responsible for building and maintaining a pool of high-quality instructors to support delivery of products and services to meet current and future demand projections. He/she will lead the full life-cycle of recruiting and onboarding of candidates while collaborating with the Resource Management team and other department leaders. The Instructor Recruitment Manager will perform ongoing recruiting activities including identifying, tracking, coordinating, and communicating with all potential candidates.


Manage the full life-cycle instructor recruiting process and be the main point of contact for all recruiting activity

Design and implement an overall recruiting strategy to maintain a robust pipeline of candidates

Conduct ongoing resource analysis to identify resource gaps and areas of need

Create and execute marketing strategies to attract passive instructor candidates

Work with the Human Resources recruiter and through other avenues such as industry conferences, professional associations, and social media to identify, source, and recruit candidates to meet current and future business needs

Manage the instructor recruiting process and evaluate promising candidates by conducting resume screenings, phone interviews, live interviews, and auditions

Ensure the instructor audition process is carefully and consistently managed to provide all candidates with a fair and professional experience

Create, update, and maintain recruiting process documents

Partner with business leaders to capture accurate job requirements and qualifications to ensure candidates are assessed against the appropriate criteria

Create/update s and qualifications to be used on the corporate website, job boards, and social media

Provide guidance and suggestions for matching faculty resources to assignments to maximize delivery quality, instructor development opportunities, and customer satisfaction.

Work with Resource Schedulers to ensure maximum utilization of newly recruited resources

Track and report key metrics designed to measure and predict recruiting activity

Distribute, collect, and maintain initial signed professional service agreements, signed confidentiality agreements, and other representations, policies, and certifications.

Schedule and deliver new instructor orientations

Actively participate in all staffing related activities and engage in cross functional projects

Ensure instructors are registered, set-up, and/or added to all necessary databases

Play an active role in representing, managing, and supporting 425+ instructors

Other Resource Management related duties as assigned


Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Demonstrated organizational skills, ability to follow processes, and attention to detail

Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills

Computer and internet proficiency including MS Office Suite, social media tools, and database applications

Ability to analyze and leverage data to achieve goals

Strong collaboration, networking, and relationship building skills

Ability to work independently while managing multiple projects and shifting priorities

Familiarity with the principles of delivering competency-based, student-centered learning to adults

Proficiency with Adobe Connect


Bachelors degree

5-7 years recruiting experience in the professional services field

Proven success in sourcing and recruiting independent contractors

Previous experience working in a staffing agency or a fast-paced, quick turnaround environment
