The Clinical Nurse I, under supervision, provides patient care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation from admission through transfer or discharge. The Registered Nurse works with the interdisciplinary team to provide evidence-based, high quality patient care and safety.
- A diploma/degree from an accredited nursing school (a Bachelor's degree in Nursing is strongly preferred, or agreement to enroll within six months of employment)
- A license (RN) to practice in Maryland or the ability to obtain a Maryland license based on timeframe of licensing board
- One - two years of clinical nursing experience strongly preferred; new nurse graduates considered with practicum, or technician experience in acute care
- Healthcare Provider-Level CPR certification
