Data Analytics Specialist Newbrook seeks a motivated, driven and mission oriented individual to provide enterprise engineering support for the full information technology life-cycle of mission essential IT systems. You will work with a team and customer adopting the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodology for providing a comprehensive range of system and software engineering activities in support of our customer’s mission. You will work directly with the designated stakeholders to ensure the delivery of value for mission success. Project and Team Description You will join a team providing enterprise level system engineering planning, assessments of requirements, and a full range of resource planning and analysis. You will be directly responsible for investigating current and emerging technologies to include the following areas: Artificial Intelligence
Data Visualization Your work will provide government stakeholders with analysis, assessments, and recommended courses of action that integrate all relevant technical and programmatic factors and considerations to meet mission requirements. Position Requirements Possess broad demonstrated experience and knowledge in enterprise architecture, infrastructure, applications, databases, IT Services, cloud technologies, governance, and business processes. Ability to develop strategic level views and development plans for on-prem and cloud technologies. Ability to establish and maintain Enterprise-Level Plans that effectively capture physical, logical and security domains. Ability to integrate technological breakthroughs (across USG, academia, and private sector) relevant to the strategic priorities of the IT and software mission enabling technologies to include: cloud technologies; data analytics; social media analysis/analytics; security; data extraction; machine learning; and language translation. Possess the demonstrated ability to work independently and lead teams of five or more in the process of linking together subsystems to operate as a coordinated whole while enhancing user experience and optimizing life cycle costs. Able to understand requirements for tasks to be performed, review and evaluate all work performed, provide direction, and ensure compliance with all customer requirements and policies. Possess working understanding of agile methodologies for software development. Demonstrated experience using Confluence and Jira.
