Must be a U.S Citizen Clearance: Able to obtain an NRC level "L" clearance Job Summary The Senior Network Engineer (SNE) will provide maintenance and operations support, which includes services for the systems, equipment, hardware, and software, to continuously maintain the Operations Center Information Management System (OCIMS) systems and ensure that the NRC's Office of Nuclear Security and Incident Response (NSIR) maintains the Authorization to Operate (ATO) for OCIMS.
Specific Responsibilities* Supports and manages the installation, testing, maintenance, and troubleshooting of operational systems and networks.* Manages a variety of network and telecommunications support functions, including trouble ticket management, service order entry, and/or configuration management.* Direct the testing, planning, assembly, installation, implementation, and maintenance of networks using both manual and automated tools.* Evaluate system problems of workflow, organization, and planning, develops appropriate corrective action.* Performs all work in accordance with established standards.
Qualifications* Be familiar with Nutanix hardware and Prism software.* Have knowledge of physical and virtual desktops using Citrix XenDesktop to provide virtual desktop Interface (VDI).* Experience with MY SQL * Experience with Microsoft Windows server 2003 or later* Experience with Microsoft Active Directory* Experience with Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS)6 or later* Experience with Microsoft Access 2007 or later* Experience with WebEOC version 7 or later* Experience with network design, network protocols, routers, switches* Experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2005 or later* Extensive experience with and knowledge of FISMA certification and accreditation.* Experience with developing administration and operations support procedures
Preferred skills* Experience with HTML, XML.* Experience with scripting languages (such as java script or visual basic script).* Experience with telephony systems, and PBX systems.* Experience with Audio/Video (A/V) systems.
