Job Description

Siemens Government Technologies (SGT) is a dynamic and rapidlygrowing organization, and we are seeking a self-driven individual to complementour growing team.

As a Siemens Professional Services Solutions Architect, you willbe the point person for designing product lifecycle solutions and helping themrealize their vision within their industry. This position requires excellentinterpersonal skills, technical leadership skills, process improvement skillsas well as Teamcenter PLM configuration and customization implementationskills. In this role, you will performas a trusted advisor on architectural design to address business problemsensuring that the technical integrity of the solution remains aligned torequirements and value delivery throughout project and that the various projectsolutions.

As part of the Professional Services team, you will work withConsultants, Product Architects, Project Managers, Industry Experts and ProductDevelopment teams to ensure project and customer success.

Responsibilities

Understandand demonstrate how Siemens PLM services will impact and integrate withcustomers initiatives, business drivers, value, and impact

Setand manage stakeholders expectations, demonstrating thought leadership toeffectively influence key contacts and recommend solutions

Directthe delivery of customer requirements workshops using existing Templates toproduce functional and requirement specifications and Solution Outlines

Leadoverall architectural design area of a project and solutions to address thecustomers business requirements

Understandcustomers goals and objectives to identify what change initiatives are neededfor the customer to be efficient and productive

Translatebusiness requirements in specific PLM solutions, applications or processdesigns for moderately complex projects

Provideadvice to the definition of required strategies for migration or management oflegacy systems and data

Providetechnical advice for proof of concepts and demonstration for Country/Verticalopportunities and leadership for strategic proof of concepts anddemonstration/prototypes

Maketechnical recommendations and implement overall system design of the TeamcenterPLM Solution

Supportproject management activities to control the scope, cost, schedule and qualityof the project

Communicateproject processes, progress by interacting with the customers to supportcustomer expectations and support customer adoption

MentorProduct Architects & Implementation team members

Documentrequirements, deployment plans, configurations, recommended hardware (if any)

Effectivelycommunicate with clients, Siemens sales team and project managers

Qualifications

UnitedStates Citizen with no dual citizenship, ties to another country, foreign passports,or visas

BachelorsDegree in Mechanical and/or Manufacturing Engineering, Computer Science, Technology,or equivalent years of experience (8+) in PLM

Minimum3-5 years of experience in engineering and/or manufacturing processes fordesign and development of products

Three3-5 years of experience in implementing Teamcenter Solutions or similarproducts, such as Enovia, ePMD, Windchill, Aras Innovator or Agile is desired

Minimumthree (3) years of experience guiding a team of consultants during a softwareimplementation

Three(3) to five (5) years of experience working in a customer facing environment

Strongunderstanding of PLM solutions software

TechnicalLeadership skills and proven track record of leading multi-disciplinary teams

Excellentanalytical and problem-solving skills

Knowledgeableof and understands common software development principles and lifecycle

Experiencewith and ability to undertake programming and standard testing tasks in oneprogramming language on a UNIX or Windows development platform

Intermediateknowledge of infrastructure and database systems with the ability to undertakekey activities

Understandsadvance processes within the software, and how to move between the systems

Excellentcommunication skills both written and verbal, with the ability to presentcomplex issues to multi-level audiences throughout the company and governmentexecutives

Abilityto effectively communicate progress, status, and issues to internal andexternal customers.

Abilityto obtain and meet Business goals and results

Abilityto promote complex solutions and drive acceptance with confidence

Abilityto lead project work streams in more than one specialist product domain

Abilityto work independently, as well as on a team

Mustbe focused on directing others in accountability, collaboration, effectivecommunication, and have a strategic mindset that develops talent. All thesetalents which ultimately drive results.

Proficientwith Standard MS Office applications, such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc

Understandingof Change Management

Certificationin CompTIA Security+ is highly preferred

Willingnessand ability to travel up to 75% if needed

Abilityto work remotely with light supervision

Mustbe willing to work in a flexible environment

Preferred Knowledge/Skills,Education, and Experience

Knowledgeof other Siemens PLM manufacturing solutions such as Tecnomatix PlantSimulation and Process Simulate

Knowledgeof other Siemens PLM solutions such as Simatic IT and Camstar

Experiencewith leading technical reviews and discussions

Experiencepresenting and defending various technical architecture options

Experiencewith Air Force and or DoD processes

SecurityClearance

UnitedStates Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Level U.S GovernmentSecurity Clearance
