A Child Care Worker is responsible for maintaining a safe and fun environment for young children to preteens. Their duties include coming up with creative and educational activities, preparing and serving snacks to children and maintaining a clean environment for the children.

Qualifications

• Education level- GED/ High School Diploma
• Must be at least 18 years or older
• Must pass a criminal background check and FBI check
• At least 18 months experience with children in a group setting, or at least 6 months experience and 12 credit hours in early childhood education

• Physical abilities– Must be able to bend, stoop, stand, and lift up to 25-40 lbs
