Job Description
Doswell Operating Group is searching for an Internal Auditor to join our team! The Internal Auditor will work with executive leadership and corporate teams to manage the review of all internal processes. The Internal Auditor will work with a wide array of data generated from several companies within the Doswell Operating Group umbrella. The Internal Auditor must be driven, analytical, and detail-oriented.

Job Responsibilities
Collect and analyze data to detect deficient controls, duplicated effort, extravagance, fraud, or non-compliance with laws, regulations, and management policies.
Inspect account books and accounting systems for efficiency, effectiveness, and use of accepted accounting procedures to record transactions.
Supervise auditing of establishments, and determine scope of investigation required.
Prepare detailed reports on audit findings and report to management about asset utilization and audit results, and recommend changes in operations and financial activities.
Prepare, examine, or analyze accounting records, financial statements, or other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.
Analyze business operations, trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations to project future revenues and expenses or to provide advice.
Audit payroll and personnel records to determine unemployment insurance premiums, workers compensation coverage, liabilities, and compliance with tax laws.
Job Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
At least 2 years of prior experience with auditing is required.
Job Requirements
Experienced with Microsoft Office suite.
Must be familiar with various Accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage 50, Summit, etc
Knowledge of economic and accounting principles and practices, the financial markets, banking, and the analysis and reporting of financial data.
Comfortable preparing financial documents to present and make recommendations to executive leadership.
Effectively communicates with coworkers and management.
