Position Description Primary Responsibilities: * The candidate will focus on the identification and implementation of strategic improvements, and suggest solutions that are consistent with the customer's vision and mission. * The candidate will also ensure adherence to both Industry and customer standards and best practices, and compliance to any applicable board and reviews. * The candidate will assist the customer in the following tasks, with support from assigned staff as necessary: * Performing test equipment calibration engineering services on a wide range of electronic test equipment using customized manual or automated software routines. * Designing, developing, and executing tailored acquisition strategies for new equipment and equipment upgrades to meet the customer's mission needs. * Developing and implementing customized systems to track over 2000 pieces of test equipment and associated status. * Designing calibration schedules based on individual customer requirements. QHSE Requirements: * Take reasonable care for the Health and Safety of yourself and other persons who may be affected by your actions or omissions. * Conform to all Safety Instructions given by those with a higher responsibility for Health and Safety. * Report all hazards, potential hazards or dangerous situations, including damaged or mislaid personal protective equipment to your Supervisor or Safety Representative. * Report Environmental impacts, anything that results in a change to the Environment as a result of Valiant's activities, products or services. * Participate in the achievement of Valiant's QHSE objectives and targets, both those at departmental and company level. Position Requirements Basic Qualifications: * Associates of Science degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology or equivalent * At least 8 years of experience working with electronic test equipment calibration and repair * At least 3 years of experience in meteorology fundamentals * At least 1 year of experience using commercial test equipment from HP, Agilent, Keysight, National Instruments, and/or Tektronix including signal analyzers, multimeters, power supplies, signal generators, function generators, oscilloscopes, frequency counters, power analyzers and network analyzers. Education and Experience: * Requires BS degree and 8 -- 12 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6-10 years of prior relevant experience. * May possess a Doctorate in technical domain. * Must have TS/SCI + Full-Scope Poly.
