Job Summary

The Time Solutions Manager is responsible for being the professional leader accountable to manage the critical functions of the HCM/Time System solution. This role will also consult with clients to deliver a comprehensive Time system solution, and to guide the client towards the best solution for their business needs. The Manager will help guide and direct the Time Specialists to partner with clients to understand their business and related needs, to analyze existing systems, interface requirements and business processes, and recommend and implement appropriate solutions. They will also exchange routine information with members of the Implementation team, including priorities and issues as they arise. The Manager has a thorough understanding of the isolved and Enterprise (Sage/Kronos) Time systems and stays current with updates to each system to ensure the Time team is managed and performing efficiently and effectively. Additionally, the Manager will work cross functionally with other leaders and contribute to overall product vision, strategy, and direction of Time and Attendance team and products.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Coaches and directs staff in Implementation to ensure compliance with departmental goals and objectives.

  • Conducts team meetings to keep team informed.

  • Directly involved with personnel activities including hiring, training, performance evaluation, compensation review, etc.

  • Oversees the team that serves as the single point of contact with multiple, concurrent new clients during the Time implementation process.

  • Serves as the primary escalation point for all Time implementations where necessary.

  • Has accountability and responsibility for team performance regarding:

    • Configuring a customized Time platform in coordination with other services sold and collaborating with other departments, as necessary.

    • Ongoing support for clients (as needed) that are already live with Time.

    • Serving as a resource for clients to help them better utilize products and features.

  • Communicates professionally both internally with other departments and externally with clients/vendors regarding the status of the implementation.

  • Comfortable in client facing situations to help with various stages of the implementation and/or training clients face to face (if necessary)

  • Focuses heavily on accuracy and attention to detail for work completed while acting with a sense of urgency to help meet internal/external deadlines.

  • Ongoing domain expertise of isolved and Enterprise Time product solutions (Sage/Kronos), and the interrelationship with the other features of iSolved

  • Ongoing support for clients (as needed) that are already live with Time.

  • Secures and Maintains certifications relevant to Payroll/HCM/TIME industry

  • Helps to determine and update internal processes as necessary and potentially serves as a mentor for new employees.

  • Helps with secondary business priorities centered around client education, business development, client escalations, etc.

  • Other responsibilities as needed.

This is what we're looking for:

  • At least 5+ years of experience working with various Time products including Sage and/or Kronos systems. iSolved Time experience a plus.

  • Ability to work well with others in a team or matrix

  • Proficient in the latest web technologies and working knowledge of various operating systems.

  • Excellent analytical skills and time management skills and ability to work both independently to provide solutions to clients and as leader accountable for part of a team to accomplish

  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written and client facing experience.

  • Proficient using Microsoft Office.

  • Effectively handle multiple concurrent large projects

  • Must be flexible to overtime when necessary.

  • Highly motivated individual that is a self-starter in a fast-paced environment that is continually changing.

  • BA/BS in Human Resources, Accounting, Finance, Business, Computer Science, or equivalent work experience preferred. Payroll and/or HR certifications (FPC/CPP/PHR, etc. highly desirable)

  • Must be a citizen or legal resident of the United States or hold a visa that allows you to work in the United States without being sponsored by an employer.
