We are looking for a Process Improvement Engineer who should be familiar with the Agile methodology. Successful candidate should expect to start on this project after March 2021. Required Clearance, Certifications and Education Active DHSCBPBI or Top Secret Clearance required Bachelor's Degree in an IT related field Agile certification Responsibilities and Duties Tools resource, heavy analytics, good fundamentals, ability to write. Leverage the Agile methodology and Jira. Perform risk analyses to determine cost-effective and essential safeguards. Provide support to plan, coordinate, and implement the organizationrsquos information security. Oversee the efforts of security staff to design, develop, engineer, and implement solutions for security requirements. Qualifications Education level ndash Minimum of an IT related Bachelorrsquos degree Clearance level ndash Active Customs Border Protection (CBP) Background Investigation (BI) or Top Secret Clearance Experience ndash 3 years of experience in IT Must have Jira and Confluence experience to be considered Specific skills Proficiency in writing technical analysis reports. Strong written and oral communication skills. Critical thinking Strategy development Balancing security requirements with mission needs Good judgment and business acumen Relationship management Project management (ability to track detailed tasks and ensure timely delivery) Ability to work quickly, efficiently and accurately in a dynamic and fluid environment Additionally, the individuals must demonstrate familiarity in the following areas Manage the generation and secure distribution of the approximate 2500 PKI certificates. Coordinate the development, renewal, and signature of 140+ Internal Security Audits (ISAs). Back up the assigned ISSO. Perform security actions to ensure IT applications are compliant with all DHS and CBP Information Audit (IA) policies. Execute cyber monitoring, toolset security, and subscription and system alerting. Conduct Enterprise Security Scans. Develop and maintain the Plan of Action and Milestones and support remediation activities. Maintain an inventory of hardware and software for the information system. Support Incident Response and Contingency activities. Conduct Independent scans of the application, network and database (where required).
