What You'll Be Doing Supporting the DOD and Intelligence Community with primary support to the National Reconnaissance Office Solving technical problems in the areas of communications, remote sensing, and signal collection systems Joining the Digital Electronics and Electromagnetics Department as a mid-career engineer who works both independently and as a member of project teams Serving as a department subject matter expert in RF modelingsimulation, laboratory testing, and overall technical analysis of RF subsystems and their role in space systems with opportunities for prototype developments Using your technical abilities to solve customer problems, support ongoing development programs, and influence future missions Duties, responsibilities, and activities may change or new ones may be assigned as needed What You Need to be Successful Minimum Requirements Bachelor's degree from an accredited program in Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline from an accredited university A minimum of eight years of relevant experience in progressively more responsible roles Experience with RF analysis and design Experience using commercial andor custom software tools for RF modelingsimulation and analysis Experience working in a laboratory environment working with RF hardware and testing equipment Willing to travel domestically up to 5-10 of time This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a TSSSBI security clearance, which is issued by the U.S. government.
U.S. citizenship is required to obtain this level of security clearance.
How You Can Stand Out
It would be impressive if you have one or more of these Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline from an accredited university Strong proficiency with one or more popular analysis tools such as ADS, Microwave Office, MATLAB Experience working with experts in the fields of antenna systems, signal processing, communication systems, and hardware prototyping Experience with antenna systems and basic antenna design principles
A background in programming using languages such as C, C++, Fortran, JAVA, or Python.
