We are looking to hire an Administrative Assistant to join our busy team and undertake a variety of administrative duties and clerical tasks. You will provide support to management and supervisors as well as other employees, and attend to any administrative needs to ensure that the office runs smoothly and efficiently.
You will have responsibility over all general clerical activities including greeting visitors, directing calls to the right department, organizing and filing documents, meeting and travel planning, stocking the store room, and ensuring the office remains a tidy and pleasant working environment.
To be successful in this role you need to have a professional manner and be willing to help and assist others. You must also be punctual and reliable as well as adaptable and detail orientated.
To support members of the team including senior management and supervisors
Greeting clients, on the phone or in person, in a professional manner
Organize and schedule appointments and diaries
Write emails, memos and letters, both for internal and external recipients
Prepare reports and keep the filing system in good order
Ensure office supplies are stocked at all times
Book travel arrangements
Submit and reconcile expense reports
Providing basic bookkeeping services
Adopt a professional and courteous manner
Experience working within an office environment in an administrative role
Proficiency across the Microsoft Office Suite of tools
Experience working with an basic troubleshooting with office equipment
Good writing, typing and math skills
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Strong attention to detail
High School degree or similar qualification
