We are looking to hire a Janitor to join our team and work within our buildings to provide a range of maintenance and cleaning services that keep our buildings at the highest standard of repair.

You will have responsibility over maintenance duties and building repairs as well as the cleaning and washing of the relevant areas and communal parts.  It is helpful if you have previous experience in a similar role as your ultimate aim is to keep our building in a clean, tidy, safe and orderly condition.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning of the buildings including dusting, sweeping, vacuuming and mopping

• Perform routine inspections and ensure the building is secured after hours

• Document maintenance issues and note where there is need for repairs

• Make and perform minor repairs

• Stock and maintain the supply rooms

• Manage trash collection and disposal

• Comply with all relevant health and safety regulations

• Ability to work on tasks without supervision

Requirements

• Ideally obtained experience in Janitorial or maintenance work previously

• Experience in dealing with relevant tools and maintenance equipment 

• Able to confidently use cleaning chemicals and supplies in a safe manner

• Manage your time efficiently and can work independently

• Confident with basic maintenance, repairs, cleaning and other janitorial work
